Blooming Bees: Fostering Young Minds Through Play
Study conducted by Harvard University shows that the science of early childhood development highlights the crucial role of the first few years in shaping brain development.
- Playful interactions with adults are essential for nurturing a baby or toddler's brain development. These experiences help build the building blocks of resilience and lifelong health. Through games and activities, children can strengthen their executive function skills, which are crucial for learning and success. By practicing executive function skills like focus, memory, and self-control, children are setting themselves up for success in the future.
- Instead of following a set curriculum, we develop lesson plans that follow the interests of the children. Our Montessori-inspired lessons include overall development of a child.

Jean Piaget's theory of cognitive development
Piaget's theory outlines four stages that children go through as they learn and grow.
- Sensorimotor Stage (Birth to 2 Years): During this stage, babies learn about the world through their senses and motor responses. They also learn object permanence, which is the understanding that objects continue to exist even when they cannot be seen or heard.
- Preoperational Stage (2 to 7 Years):In this stage, children begin to think symbolically and use words and pictures to represent objects. However, they are still egocentric and struggle to see things from the perspective of others.

I'm Priya, the Director of Blooming Bees Learning Center. As a licensed childcare facility, we're dedicated to providing top-quality care for your child. I'm certified in child and adult CPR and have over five years of experience in early education within the LWSD (Lake Washington School District) and Everett School District. I've completed extensive training in early childhood development, including a professional course from Harvard University. To stay current with the latest in early childhood education and leadership, I regularly attend training sessions. I'm passionate about applying my knowledge, training, and experience to nurture the little bees in our care. Please don't hesitate to ask me about anything related to childcare or my recent training.

Enrolling your child at Blooming Bees offers a rewarding investment in their future & provides a valuable foundation
We operate Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Drop-off and pick-up times can be flexible and tailored to accommodate your schedule upon prior arrangement and we offer flexible pricing. We do take employer credits. All Meals are included, we encourage parents to provide PM snacks. We offer half day (4 hours), school hours and full day (9 hours).
Prices starting at $650 / month, five days a week. Schedule a tour to know full payment plans, discounts etc.
